Sympathy Flowers- Sending Your Condolences

sympathy flowersIt doesn’t matter what your relationship is with a person or a family. When it comes to the death of anyone, it is hard to know what to say, how to behave, or most importantly, how to comfort the survivors. The temptation to send a sympathy card is only temporary because it’s so difficult to come up with the perfect words with which to share your condolences. You can count on our floral designers here at Rose Hill Flowers to help you choose from our extensive selection of sympathy flowers. After all, we areExperts in the Art of Expression.

We thought it might be helpful to our customers if we shared some of our favorite sympathy flower arrangements with them. We’ll show you examples of arrangements we have for everything from the casket to the funeral, and arrangements that the family can enjoy as they receive guests who come to pay their respects at home.

Sympathy Flowers for the Home

Our beautiful “Keepsake” arrangement consists of a variety of flowers of different heights and colors. We place a trellis in the container to support the keepsake angel wind chime. The windchime will comfort the bereaved once the funeral and burial are over, and they return home. The reality of their loss will finally hit them. The gentle sound of this delightful wind chime may comfort them.

Comfort the bereaved with our “Basket of Memories.” We fill the basket with Gerbera daisies, snapdragons, larkspur, asters, hydrangeas, and daffodils. For an extra special touch, we include a framed piece of art – a customized hand calligraphed sympathy statement. The framed artwork is a comforting memento that will comfort the survivors all the time.

Sympathy Baskets for the Funeral

The death of a family member is painful for everyone. The survivors are left to deal with all of the practical issues like planning the funeral, filing the legal paperwork and placing a death notice in the newspaper. By sending a basket of sympathy flowers to the funeral parlor so that the funeral home is decorated for the service, you’ll be relieving the family of an enormous burden.

Our “Garden Cross” bouquet is an elegant combination of yellow, white and blue flowers. We nestle a beautiful rustic blue keepsake cross in the middle of the flowers. The cross can hang on the wall or become a garden ornament where the family goes to reflect on their loss.
