Anna Page's passion for flowers bloomed long before she welcomed her first customers through the doors of Rose Hill Flowers. Her mother, Patti, pursued a second career as a florist and passed on both her skill and belief in flowers' ability to express emotion and elevate life's most meaningful occasions.

Anna's journey with Rose Hill Flowers began with a last-minute phone call from then-owner Bill Smith, "You told me to call if I wanted to sell my shop — I'm ready. One catch: I have two days to vacate my building." Anna leaned on the advice of her father, Bill Page, who had always encouraged her to go into business for herself. Her response was simple, "Sure, why not?" Two days later, Anna opened the doors under new management, a determined young owner ready to make her mark.

It didn't take long for Anna, then in her twenties and brimming with energy, to realize the astronomical commitment demanded by a small business. One evening, exhausted, she asked her father, "Why did you ever tell me to go into business for myself?" With a laugh, he replied, "I didn't tell you to go into retail." That quip remains a long-running Page family joke.

Despite the challenges, Anna stayed the course. The shop's delivery van may have had a missing headlight and a door that wouldn't open, but the flowers inside quickly built a reputation for creative beauty and outstanding quality. From the start, Anna resolved that the store would hang its hat on customer service and design excellence. Her team understood that no matter how unusual the request, they were expected to go above and beyond to bring the customer's vision to life. Those exacting standards and a refined aesthetic steadily carved out a place for Anna's shop in the heart of Nashville.

Today, Rose Hill Flowers operates with a fleet of eight vans, more than 40 staff members, and an unwavering dedication to the Nashville community. Our award-winning designers continue to hone their craft, earning their place as true Experts in the Art of Expression. Beyond flowers, we are active community partners, supporting causes such as the Tennessee Breast Cancer Coalition, Nashville Repertory Theatre, Cheekwood Estate & Gardens, local schools, animal welfare organizations, and more.
